„Szkoła liturgii” to cykl comiesięcznych wykładów dotyczących znaków i misterium liturgii.

Wykłady otwarte są dla każdego. Do szkoły liturgii mogą przystąpić osoby w każdym wieku i z każdym wykształceniem, osoby bardzo zaangażowane w liturgię, a także osoby bez takiego doświadczenia. Jedynym warunkiem uczestnictwa jest pragnienie zdobycia informacji potrzebnych do lepszego przeżywania liturgii.

Z różnych stron słychać informacje i prośby o potrzebie szeroko pojętej formacji dorosłych przez tłumaczenie znaków celebrowanego w liturgii misterium. Zostało to także wyrażone w Syntezie Diecezjalnej Etapu Przygotowawczego II Synodu Archidiecezji Wrocławskiej: „nr 32. Wśród tych z nas, którzy systematyczną katechezę zakończyli już wiele lat temu, budzi się potrzeba zrozumienia symboliki liturgicznej. (…) Brakuje też innych okazji, które pomogłyby nam wejść głębiej w znaczenie liturgii. Zauważamy również konieczność stałej, przemyślanej formacji dla tych, którzy już są zaangażowani w liturgię, zwłaszcza w mniejszych miejscowościach”.

Papież Franciszek zauważa potrzebę poważnej i żywotnej formacji liturgicznej. Wskazuje, że konieczne jest upowszechnienie wiedzy o liturgii poza sferą akademicką, w sposób przystępny, aby każdy wierny mógł wzrastać w znajomości teologicznego znaczenia liturgii – jest to decydujące i podstawowe zagadnienie wszelakiej wiedzy i każdej praktyki liturgicznej – jak również w rozwoju chrześcijańskiej celebracji, nabywając zdolność rozumienia tekstów euchologijnych, dynamizmów dotyczących rytów i ich antropologicznego znaczenia (Desiderio Desideravi 35).

Szkoła będzie odbywać się raz na miesiąc, w poniedziałki w czwartym tygodniu miesiąca.

Comiesięczne spotkanie będzie składać się z dwóch 45 minutowych wykładów – jeden w cyklu, drugi poza cyklem.

Pierwszy cykl półroczny będzie dotyczył sakramentu chrztu. Planowany jest drugi pełny cykl roczny, który będzie poświęcony Mszy Świętej i celebracji tajemnicy eucharystycznej poza Mszą Świętą.

Pierwszy wykład z cyklu prezentuje ks. Mariusza Szypa. Drugi wykład, na ogół prezentowany przez zaproszonego gościa, dotyczył będzie innych zagadnień związanych z liturgią. Po każdym wykładzie będzie możliwość zadawania pytań prelegentom.

Miejscem każdej sesji będzie Rotunda św. Franciszka przy ul. Borowskiej 174 we Wrocławiu.

Przed przystąpieniem do udziału w wykładach należy wypełnić i przesłać formularz zgłoszeniowy na dany cykl „Szkoły liturgii”.

Wykłady będą odbywać się tylko stacjonarnie w godzinach 18.30 – 20.45

Po pierwszym wykładzie w cyklu, osoby które zadeklarują udział w całym cyklu spotkań, będą proszone o złożenie jednorazowej opłaty (100 zł za I cykl). Inicjatywa ma charakter działalności non-profit. Kwota opłaty przeznaczona jest na pokrycie niezbędnych kosztów związanych z organizacją wykładów. Będzie też możliwość uiszczenia opłaty przelewem, każdy zarejestrowany uczestnik otrzyma w wiadomości taką informację.

Zgłoszenia przyjmowane są do wyczerpania miejsc.

W latach 2019-2024  ceremoniarz katedralny we Wrocławiu. Od 2019 r. wykładowca liturgiki, a od 2021 r. adiunkt Katedry Liturgiki, Homiletyki i Kultury Muzycznej PWT we Wrocławiu. Należy do Towarzystwa Dogmatyków Polskich. Członek Stowarzyszenia Liturgistów Polskich, a od 2020 r. jego sekretarz.

Współzałożyciel Fundacji Lumen de Lumine i kierownik artystyczny jej projektów m.in. Ogólnopolskiego Kursu Chorału Gregoriańskiego we Wrocławiu. Członek Chóru NFM we Wrocławiu (2028-2020). Wolny słuchacz w Capella Musicale Pontificia Sistina w Rzymie (2018).
Członek polskiej sekcji Międzynarodowego Stowarzyszenia Studiów Śpiewu Gregoriańskiego. Od 2018 roku jest kantorem w Duszpasterstwie Wiernych Tradycji Łacińskiej.

Studiował liturgię w Papieskim Instytucie Liturgicznym Sant’Anselmo w Rzymie (2003-2009), uzyskując doktorat na podstawie rozprawy na temat teologii liturgicznej przybranego synostwa Bożego w starożytnych sakramentarzach. W roku 2014 uzyskał stopień doktora habilitowanego nauk teologicznych na podstawie rozprawy pt. „Uświęcenie i kult. Liturgia Godzin w perspektywie soborowej definicji liturgii”. W roku 2018 otrzymał nominację na stanowisko profesora nadzwyczajnego PWT we Wrocławiu.
